Hi there,
I’m Judy Croon. Welcome to another episode of Laugh Long and Prosper.
Today , I’m joined by my long time amazing friend and awesome comedian Evan Carter.
Evan is a legend in the Canadian comedy scene and has been considered by fans and comics alike to be one of the best ever. For years he has been at the top of the heap, and continues to deliver clean and witty comedy as good as it gets.
Carter’s versatility, experience, and professionalism serve him well and he transitions easily from different venues such as the opening of the 2015 Pam Am Games, to concert halls, working with musical stars such as Gladys Knight, The Temptations, Air Supply, Dionne Warwick, John Cougar, Midnight Oil, the late Marvin Gaye as well as many other top names in the world of show business.
He equally excels at delivering quality performances to private corporate conferences and local fundraisers. Evan has worked on numerous television shows, like including his own half hour specials on CBC and The Comedy Network. On radio, Evan appears regularly on CBC’s “Metro Morning”, “Fresh Air”, “Later the Same Day”, “LOL” and “The Debaters”.

Laugh Long & Prosper with Comedians Lisa-Gay Tremblay and Anna Gustafson
Hey there, I’m Judy Croon- Canada’s Keynote Humourist.
Welcome to another episode of Laugh Long and Prosper.
On today's podcast, I speak with two of my good comedic friends; Anna Gustafson and Lisa Gay Tremblay.
We talk about Hell Gigs, travel stories from hell and airline hell stories.
Anna is originally from the predominantly Scandinavian town of Lund BC. She now makes her home in Toronto. She's done stand up comedy all over Canada, she has performed at the Just For Laughs festival and she's also done a presentation on Tedx.
As the Comedian in Residence at Gilda’s Club Toronto, Anna is the producer and host of Never Mind Comedy. She also has a supporting role in the startup initiative Gathering for Goodness, and she produces the live, pro, stand-up comedy show "The BETTY" which creates space for sometimes underrepresented pockets of the comedy community.
Lisa Gay Tremblay is originally from Ottawa. She resides in Sherman Oaks, LA. She was elected to the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood council. She’s toured all over. She's performed at Just for Laughs and she’s been on Fox, Showtime and A & E. She’s also had some national commercials running south of the border.
If you would like to reach Anna, her email address is anna@annagustafson.com
If you would like to reach Lisa, her email is lgpetrus@gmail.com
Please welcome my good friends, Anna Gustafson and Lisa Gay Tremblay.

Hi there, I’m Judy Croon - Canada’s Keynote Humorist.
Welcome to another episode of Just Another Mindful Monday.
Today’s episode is called ‘Parenting: Finding Calm in the Chaos -Teaching Kids to Meditate’. We’re going to do a series of these podcasts and then hopefully, a live show in the near future because parents and kids are STRESSED OUT. Resources are tapped. Covid made those resources even more limited. I have two moms on the show who want to make those resources available to parents who don’t know what to do.
Parenting can be a wonderful, magical experience. It can also be very stressful, especially during the toddler and preschool years. Today, we are hoping to help parents find some calm in the chaos, through meditation and other stress busting techniques.
We’ve actually done this podcast in Three Parts:
Episode One: It Starts with Connection
Episode Two: When Things Go Wrong (accepting)
Episode Three: Teaching Kids to Meditate
So, if you are a stressed-out parent, we hope that you tune into all three parts!
My two special guests for all three episodes are Cara Coulson and Debbie De Kroon.
Cara is a family facilitator. She works with families that include a person with an intellectual, developmental, or dual diagnosis disability often with Autism and she helps them navigate the service system in the Durham Region. She is also a Mindfulness Life Coach at Pearl Mindfulness Education. I have had the pleasure of interviewing Cara so many times on Just Another Mindful Monday. Here’s the thing- Cara teaches mindfulness and meditation to adults, as well as to kids and kids with special needs.
Cara can be reached at ZenLife285@gmail.com
Debbie is a paediatric speech-language pathologist. She also happens to be my sister. Debbie has worked at various children’s treatment centres and school settings, helping children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, and other complex communication disorders. Debbie now operates a private practice where the focus is as much on parent training and coaching as it is on helping children to become better communicators. Debbie has always felt that parents need to see themselves as the ‘experts’ when it comes to knowing their child, and that no professional can have as great an impact on a child’s communication skills as a parent who can adapt to their child’s changing needs.
